Roxy Chicken Jam 2010

Inizio Riders hit up the Roxy Chicken Jam at Mammoth Mountain, CA this weekend. World class female riders such as Kelly Clark and Tora Bright and over 100 others from 15 countries competed in the Halfpipe and Slopestyle competitions. Kelly Clark grabbed a solid first place and $15,000 in the halfpipe with a killer run featuring a frontside 900 and a frontside 7 to cab 7. Rana Okada came in second and Elena Hight took third.

In Slopestyle, Jamie Anderson took first and $15,000 with a run featuring a back 5 on the first jump, a switch back 5 and a cab 5 on the next jumps then hitting the jib section hard with a boardside 720 off the rail. Janna Weatherby came in second and Jenny Jones took third.

All in all, it was an awesome weekend with some amazing riders, a sweet locals only competition - the Cluck-Off, and the always amusing mascot halfpipe contest with our personal favorite, the boob mascot riding for Boarding for Breast Cancer. Be sure to make it out to next year's competition if you can!
